Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy S24 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy edition will soon be available in India. With the new variant, Samsung is responding to the requests of Indian consumers, who have long been asking for Snapdragon-powered flagship phones in their market.
Samsung Galaxy S24 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3: key specifications
The new variant of the Samsung Galaxy S24 comes with the same premium design and features as the Exynos model, but with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor at its core. Built on a 4nm process, the chipset offers clock speeds of up to 3.39GHz and is paired with an Adreno 750 GPU for enhanced gaming and multitasking performance.
The front of the smartphone has a 6.2-inch screen that is very bright (up to 2600 nits) and protected by a strong glass called Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The screen also has a special feature that can automatically adjust its refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. This helps save battery life while making scrolling and animations look incredibly smooth.
The device will ship with Android 15 running One UI 7, and buyers can choose between 128GB or 256GB of internal storage paired with 8GB of RAM.
For photography, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S24 with a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera for capturing wide scenes, and a 10MP telephoto camera that can zoom in three times without losing quality. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 12MP camera on the front. For video, the phone can record in very high quality, including 8K at 30fps and 4K at 60fps.

Design and color options
The Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S24 will be available in four colors, Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Amber Yellow, and Cobalt Violet. The phone will have the same compact and thin design as the earlier model, so it will still feel premium and comfortable to hold.
