Google just gave us a first look at the Pixel 10 series teaser, and to be honest, it’s pretty much what I expected. The design looks a lot like the Pixel 9. But there’s more to it if you look closer. Design feels familiar but not bad
When I saw the teaser photo on the Google Store, I thought… okay, they’re sticking to the same design language. You’ve still got the flat sides, slightly curved corners, and that big camera bar across the back. The model shown clearly has three camera lenses, which most likely means this is the Pixel 10 Pro, or maybe a new Pro XL if that’s actually happening.
But what caught my eye is that some leaks say the regular Pixel 10 might also get a triple camera setup this year. That’s new for Google, since the basic model usually has just two cameras. If that’s true, it’s a pretty good move.
Camera part might be the biggest deal
This part’s kinda interesting. Some reports from a while back said that the telephoto lens on the Pixel 10 might also work as a macro lens. That means you could use the same lens to zoom in from far and also take detailed close-up shots. Kinda useful if you’re into phone photography.
Also, they’re apparently improving the ultra-wide lens too, so overall, the camera performance should get better this time. But yeah, we’ll need to wait for some real-world samples before judging that.
What else Is coming at the event
Google’s planning a big launch event on August 20, and the teaser is just one piece of it. They’ve been sending out invites, and it mentions stuff like watches, buds, and more. So we might see the Pixel Watch 4, maybe Pixel Buds 2a, and possibly something else.
