Google Pixel devices have been a delight for tech enthusiasts and Google is a one-stop-shop for product updates. Pixel devices have a great specification and never-ending clientele who are happy to buy and use such a trending device. Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL are already trending in the smartphone market but it’s time for a change. Google is gearing up for its third generation of Pixel devices namely Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL that will be launched in a few weeks as the date isn’t confirmed yet.
But we don’t know much about Pixel devices unless Google chooses to disclose the information but then, there are leakers and various other sources from where, specifications, looks, and almost everything that is related to a soon-to-be-launched device becomes viral on the web. Similarly, the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL devices are groped in rumors and numerous leaks for the past few weeks and it seems that these deliberate leaks from third-party sources aren’t going to stop soon.
GizmoChina released what is assumed as the phone case for the upcoming Pixel 3 XL. As per what we know as of now, the device will sport a thick notch on the top with dual front camera setup and a speaker along with other sensors. Down at the bottom bezel, the renders show that it has a secondary front speaker which is a great news for music lovers.
The renders further states that the Pixel 3 XL will sport a single lens rear camera with LED flash and a centrally placed fingerprint scanner. At the bottom edge, it sports a USB-C Type port and that’s pretty much all that was earlier revealed.
But that’s just the first part of the recent leaks. In a separate leak posted by a user named ‘dr. guru’ on XDA forum. The user posted an actual photo of the upcoming Pixel 3 XL clad in a white color variant hinting towards availability of white color variant after the Google Pixel 3 XL launches to the public. The photo as seen here is actually an EVT 1.0 version or Engineering Validation Test which is a prototype where the developers would assemble all the pieces of hardware and software and make required changes and alterations before finalizing and then, manufacturing the device.
The photos released are actually of a 64GB and 4GB RAM variant, however, the user had claimed that Google remotely erased the device thus preventing it from booting up. Since it is an EVT 1.0, there can be a massive difference in this version of Google Pixel 3 XL and the once which is finally launched since the developers could change it a bit before manufacturing it.
Clad in white colored Google Pixel 3 XL embraces its glass back which implies that Google has finally switched from Metal and Glass back case that was earlier in use to a more preferable glass back. Both Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL are touted to launch somewhere in October along with Pixel Stand and preferably, the devices will have wireless charging capabilities.
