The clock’s ticking and we’re getting closer to witnessing the undoubtedly super-hyped Google Pixel launch event. This event wouldn’t solely shape Google’s hardware and smartphone game but also debut the new era of Android! It’s inevitably going to be incomparable as a mobile OS, judging by the rumours, and also by Google’s Android lead Hiroshi Lockheimer’s words:

This time around, Google plans to take a leap ahead in the market by inaugurating their self-made smartphones to us, pushing a bullet through the tremendous market feeders: Apple and Samsung with their iPhones and Galaxies respectively. For the same, what Google has on their rosters to announce can be considered their first actual Google smartphone, and the company wants us to have it hammered into our heads. Many of you and your inquisitive nature urges to learn about what have they got up their sleeves this time? We do have a streamlined idea about it. They’re most likely to announce a new Chromecast, the new Android 7.1, Andromeda preview, a Huawei tablet, Google WiFi (another Google home product), daydream, Google Magic (a rookie in the rumours) and the Pixels themselves. That’s all we know for now. However, surprises may show up, and we’re glad that the rumours haven’t spoiled them for us!
