  • The Pixel Watch 4 color leak reveals four case colors, including a fresh new Moonstone variant.
  • Google is introducing new band colors and materials for better comfort and everyday wear.
  • The watch is expected to launch with Wear OS 6 and a 25% faster charging system.

Following last week’s Pixel Watch 4 specs leak, we now have our first look at the official Pixel Watch 4 renders ahead of its August 20 launch. Leaked by Android Headlines, the renders provide a closer look at the design and reveal key details about what Google is bringing to the table.

Size and color details

This time, the watch is coming in two sizes again. That’s 41mm and 45mm. Nothing new there really, same as last year. But what stands out is the case colors. The usual Black, Silver, and Gold are all here. But there’s a new one called Moonstone, which looks kind of different. Not overly flashy, just a fresh look.

Now the band colors are where it gets more interesting. The Active bands are seen in Obsidian, Porcelain, and Moonstone. Simple colors, nothing too loud. For people who like sporty looks, the Sport band comes in Indigo, Limoncello, and Iris. These are a bit more colorful, but not over-the-top.

Also, just a small thing, the Stretch bands that people liked before are still only available for the 41mm version. A bit of a letdown if you prefer the bigger size, honestly.

One thing I liked is that the Active bands might be made of a new material this time. If that’s true, it could be more comfortable to wear all day. No one likes itchy bands.

What else is new

Besides colors, the leak also suggests it’ll run on Wear OS 6. This version should improve stuff like animations, battery handling, and maybe even smoother performance overall. But again, we’ll have to wait and see how much of that is true.

Another thing that caught my eye is the side-mounted charging system. It’s supposed to be improved and charge about 25% faster than the older model. That actually matters to me. I don’t like waiting around for a watch to charge.

So yeah, the Pixel Watch 4 color leak gives us a decent look at what’s coming. Nothing crazy or revolutionary here, but there are small updates that make a difference. More color choices, possibly better materials, and faster charging. For people already in the Google ecosystem, it might be worth upgrading. We’ll know more once the launch happens on August 20.
