Rockstar Games, in collaboration with Atlantic Records, has announced a significant element prior to the launch of GTA VI. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, an official soundtrack created in partnership with the record, is set to release on November 19, exactly the same day as the game.

Interestingly, the album includes 34 tracks, and it is now available for pre-save on some music streaming services. GTA enthusiasts who want to grab physical releases can pre-order vinyl and CD editions, including several limited and retailer-exclusive versions.

Rockstar says Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is a collection that is built to match the energy of Vice City and Leonida.

The creators behind the game are apparently focusing on different genres instead of sticking to a single one; this is for sure, as the album features artists from across the music world. Notably, Rockstar has released the first six singles for streaming. Here’s the list of songs available to stream:

  • Yung Lean’s “That’s It” feat. Future & Metro Boomin
  • Travis Scott’s “RHYNO,” produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo
  • CA7RIEL & Paco Amorose, PinkPatheress, Fred again.. & Etienne de Crécy’s “Sexy Magic”
  • Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need”
  • Rauw Alejandro’s “Macacoa 2000”
  • Keith Richards’ “Bright Lights, Big City”

As you might have noticed, the above-mentioned tracks span hip-hop, electronic music, country, Latin music, and rock, etc.

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album gets vinyl and CD releases

Apart from digital platforms, Rockstar is also bringing physical editions on vinyl and CD, with the releases coming along with the album.

Rockstar has confirmed three versions to be exclusively available through the official Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album store. It includes a limited-edition liquid-filled vinyl, a splatter-edition vinyl, and a CD jewel case.

Additional vinyl color variants, each featuring a unique artwork, will be sold through selected retailers. The retailers include Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters, and independent record stores.
