After plaguing the Exynos series of Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Tab S7 series, the infamous green tint screen has made its appearance on the Snapdragon side of the devices too. Several batch of users with Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S7, and Galaxy Tab S7+ have started complaining that the green tint appears on the Snapdragon-backed devices when they pull down the brightness of the screen below a certain level.

The green tint screen issue has been around for ages and has impacted a lot of phones including flagship ones that should be immune with it given the exorbitant $1000 price tag. Apple iPhone X and 11 series had the problem and so did the OnePlus 8 Pro, Google Pixel 4 series, and even the latest OnePlus Nord which is suffering from this syndrome. Apparently, the issue is not borne out of any hardware defect given that the lockdown across the globe has crunch companies to kneel but it is rather a software issue.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ Green tint screen issue

According to SamMobile, the issue on Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 could be due to Super AMOLED drivers since all the three devices listed above are using Super AMOLED panels. Moreover, users have complained that the issue is prominent when the display is set at 120Hz. If you are facing the same green tint screen issue on your Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Tab S7 series, check if bringing down the refresh rate helps.

Anyways, just like Samsung resolved the issue with Galaxy Note 20 running on Exynos, the issue on Snapdragon 865 Plus-backed devices will get the bug fix too unless it is some kind of hardware issue which is highly unlikely as of now.
