Google creates an Android N Poll to choose a name: What will it be?

Each year Google releases a new version of Android, with Android 6.0 Marshmallow this year. Of course, with every new version of Android Google adds a lot of stuff on the functional side such as: New features, better performance, privacy and the security for your device. Next to that Android fans love to guess the name of the next Android version every year, and the name of the treat next year will start with a N. So, after Android L in 2014 and Android M in 2015, what’re we going to see in 2016? And, for the first time the name of the Android version may not be solely in the hands of Google’s Android department, as CEO Sundar Pichai recently hinted.

Earlier today Pichai spoke to a group of Android fans in India, he mentioned that Google is considering a public poll for input from Android users around the world. He even suggested that if there were enough votes for it, we might even see a traditional Indian treat as the next name.

As for now it’s not sounding as something Google knows 100% for sure, but it is something we would love to hear more about. What would Google do with it? Give us some space to write down names and look which one of them is the most common. Or, will they give us just a few options to choose between? As Android 6.1 could be here in June 2016 already, we may hear more about this poll in the near future.

And yeah, tell us in the comments, what will you choose for Android N poll and what would you like Android N to be named as.
