Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is going to announce its upcoming Honor V30 series officially on November 26 in China. Now that we are barely days away from the launch, the frequency of leaks both from official and unofficial origins has started to increase drastically.

According to the latest post by Honor itself on its Chinese social media handle Weibo, Honor made sure that the 15-seconds video conveys the message that Honor V30 will sport the latest HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G chipset which comes with 5G integrated. The same chipset can be found on its Pro variant and thanks to the reports, the Kirin 990 5G chipset as already won the award for the best 5G chip at China Mobile 2019 Smart Hardware Quality Report Conference.

Keeping it aside, a different leak might give input on Honor V30 pricing which is estimated at CNY 4,999 in China. Also, Honor V30 which is also called View 30 or Vera 30 might be officially summoned as latter as per a retail box since in a leaked image but this isn’t confirmed at this moment. CNY 4,999 loosely converts to around $710 in the United States although the phone is highly unlikely to release in the U.S. after the long-lasting trade ban war between Huawei and the U.S.

Apart from that, Honor V30 is likely to get a Matrix Camera technology and will use Cine Lens that we have already seen with Huawei Mate 30 Pro. Talking about the camera assembly, Honor V30 is speculated to carry a Sony IMX686 60MP primary sensor along with three other sensors while the front will not have a circular but rather an oval-shaped cutout allowing placement for two selfie cameras which is the same for Honor V30 Pro as well.

We haven’t received any detailed specs sheet yet but we do know that the device will bring 8GB of RAM on-board along with 256GB of internal storage and will have an LCD panel instead of OLED since there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the right and the device will run on stripped-away Android 10 open-source operating system without any Google apps or services in China and probably elsewhere.

In a different report, Honor View 30 Pro was seen competing against the Huawei Mate 30 Pro in terms of performance and benchmarking scores. The device outran Mate 30 Pro scoring a whopping 476,480 points as opposed to 475,769 scored by Mate 30 Pro. Apart from that, the Pro variant has scores 169,366 in GPU benchmarks while the Mate 30 Pro gets 157,498 points only.

Coming back to the specs, Honor View 30 Pro is likely to get an OLED panel along with 40W SuperCharge and 4,200 mAh battery available at your disposal. Both the devices are scheduled to launch on November 26 in China where we should get more concrete specs sheet about the same.
