Huawei has been quite active in releasing its smartphones around the globe for a few weeks now. The company has unveiled Huawei Nova 7 series, Huawei Y8s in Jordan, and Huawei Y9s in India and now Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch its new mid-range smartphone – Honor X10. This phone is the successor to the Honor 9x which was released last year. Honor 10X is confirmed to make its debut in China on May 20. Now, the latest teaser from Honor’s official Weibo account confirms that the X10 will come with a 90Hz display refresh rate and not just that a new leak on Weibo also confirms the details around the pricing and X10’s storage configurations.
Talking about the teaser from the official Honor Weibo, it did not reveal much around the display specifications but by looking at the poster we can clearly understand that the Honor X10 will boast 90Hz display refresh rate complete with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Unlike most of the mid-rangers, Honor X10 is expected to come with an IPS LCD display instead of AMOLED display. Considering the IPS LCD display, the fingerprint sensor will be side-mounted which will basically be embedded into the power key.

Honor X10’s storage configuration details and alleged prices also popped up online earlier. According to the leak sourced from Weibo, Honor X10 is expected to come in four variants. Honor 10X Specifications and Features (Expected)
Honor 10X features a 6.6-inch LTPS IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Considering the IPS LCD display this phone will miss out on an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is expected to come with punch-hold display notch or a pop-up selfie camera regardless of that aspect ratio of this display is 20:9 and screen to body ratio stands at 84.7%. The pixel density here is 397 PPI and the device comes with a 90Hz display refresh rate complete with a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
Underneath the hood, the device is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 820. This is a 7nm chipset with Prime core Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.36 GHz and three performance cores Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.22 GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.84 GHz each. Mali-G57 handles the graphic duties here. The device will be made available in four variants. The primary low variant comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The top variant comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB onboard storages. There are also 6 and 8 GB RAM variants available with 128 GB storage options.
As for the optics, the device comes with triple camera setup on the back. The primary unit is a 40 MP Sony IMX600y sensor with F/1.8 aperture. The secondary unit is an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an F/2.4 aperture and 112-degree field of view. The tertiary is a 2 MP depth-sensing unit. On the front, there is a 16 MP Sony IMX471 sensor with an F/2.2 aperture.
The Honor X10 runs Android 10 out of the box with EMUI skin on top. EMUI is a feature-rich interface that provides a simple interactive design and intelligent functions for easy use. But it is worth noting the device will not come with Google Play services due to the recent ban on Huawei. The side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack will take an account here. All this is powered by a 4200 mAh battery.
