HTC U Ultra & U Play Launched in India: Price, Release Date, Specs, and more

Today, HTC India launched the U Ultra, its latest flagship smartphone. The smartphone will be available from March 6 in Blue, Black, Pink, and White color options with a price tag at Rs. 59,990 (MOP). HTC also launched the U Play, which is priced at Rs. 39,990 (MOP). It’ll be available a week or two after the U Ultra.

The key feature of the HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play is the Sense Companion. It’s an AI-based system that analyzes the user’s daily tasks and patterns to provide usage recommendations based on it. The Sense Companion will display important notifications on the second screen which sits above the screen, Priority Screen. Both come with HTC USonic earphones, which analyze the shape of your inner ears with a “sonar-like pulse” and produce sound accordingly.

HTC U Ultra

Only the 64 GB variant of the U Ultra has been launched in India. The storage can be expanded via microSD card up to 2TB. This variant has a display protected by Gorilla Glass 5, unlike the 128GB one, which has a sapphire glass display.

HTC U Play

As for the U Play, they launched only the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant in India, which is again, expandable up to  TB. The HTC U Play is a powered down version of the U Ultra but isn’t too bad of a package itself.
