Infinix Zero 40 5G: High-end specs and performance
The Infinix Zero 40 5G is going to entertain users on its 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display, presenting a Full HD+ resolution in addition to a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The display is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which adds to its durability.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset, the Zero 40 5G is further supported by 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM for strong performance in multitasking and gaming purposes. The storage options include 256GB and 512GB, both using fast UFS 3.1 technology.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 108MP ISOCELL HM6 primary camera, complete with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for shake-free photos and videos.
The rear camera setup will include a 50MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a quad-LED flash. The front camera doesn’t disappoint either, featuring a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor with dual flash and EIS, capable of recording 4K videos at 60 fps.
The Infinix Zero 40 5G will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired, 20W wireless, and 10W reverse wired charging. Running on Android 14 with XOS 14.5, the device is guaranteed to receive three years of security updates and will be upgraded to Android 16.
The phone will also boast an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, an under-display fingerprint scanner, JBL-tuned dual speakers, and an infrared blaster. However, it lacks a headphone jack.
Infinix Zero 40: A budget-friendly option
The Infinix Zero 40 comes with the 4G model, running the MediaTek Helio G100 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The 4G model features the same 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display, but has a slightly toned-down refresh rate of 120Hz. On the other hand, it does not support wireless charging like its 5G counterpart does.
