Apple released the iPhone 13 series to the world at its September 2021 event last year and we know that the iPhone 13 models are an incremental upgrade over the iPhone 12 series.

For people who would like to switch from the iPhone X, XR, or even the iPhone 11 series, it is a great choice because of the improved cameras and low-light photography.

While there has not been a lot to talk about the iPhone 13 series recently, we have some chatter from users of the iPhone 13 models saying that they have a pink screen issue on their devices.

Basically, the problem as per users’ description is that their iPhone 13 screens are suddently turning pink and they don’t know the reason.

Users have also reported that the only solution to this problem is that they need to restart their device. Otherwise, the device becomes unusable all of a sudden and randonly at that.

Now, it is worth noting some of the earlier users who reported this issue got their iPhones replaced. But not everyone has been lucky because of the fact that Apple claims its a software bug only.

Another interesting thing to note here is that the users reporting these issues are mostly from China and we don’t know if this is a manufacturing issue or something else.

Apple, in its response on Chinese social media site Weibo, said that “We didn’t notice relevant problems in the hardware of the devices because this situation [pink screen] is caused when the system is locked.”

This statement could seem a little vague because it is translated from its original Chinese version but Apple says that users should install the latest update to resolve this problem.

The company claims that this issue possibly occurs because of conflict between app version and iOS version and if there is a mismatch between the two.
