An alleged iPhone 16 series launch poster is being floated on the internet with September 10th as the date. Tipster Majin Buu on X (formerly Twitter) posted the alleged poster that could be a cover invite for the upcoming Apple September event dubbed as “Ready. Set. Capture”.
iPhone 16 Series Launch Could be on September 10
According to the poster, the Apple September event is touted to happen on September 10th at 10.30 PM IST or 14.00 EDT (11.00 PDT). It will be an in-person event at Steve Jobs Amphitheatre at Apple Park, California, US. The poster doesn’t bear any details about the upcoming launches similar to how all the previous cover invites have been teased.
However, reports suggest that the color scheme used for the Apple logo in the leaked poster could be a nod to a new color variant i.e, ‘Desert Titanium’ that we covered a few days ago.
The slogan says “Ready. Set. Capture” which is also a subliminal (or I would say rather direct) hint towards the ‘Capture Button’ that took the limelight of headlines a few months ago. Most probably, the ‘Capture’ button will give the iPhone 16 series the ability to capture photos and videos without relying on the shutter button on the camera app.
However, neither Majin Buu nor we substantiate this leak and would rather wait for an official confirmation from Apple. September 10 seems like an appropriate date given it is around the same time last year’s iPhone 15 series launched (Sep 12), and it is a Tuesday. This happens to be an auspicious day for Apple for iPhone launches and yes, many of the previous iPhones have launched on a Tuesday.

Marketing materials for an alleged iPhone SE (2024) have leaked as well. Although there’s not much information available about the same, we see that the iPhone SE 2024 will have a 6.1” display with a design similar to the iPhone 14.
We could get an Apple A18 SoC on-board iPhone SE which is similar to what the iPhone 16 will get. There’s Face ID on top and the price tag on the unit is expected to be around INR 50,000/-.
However, it might seem like a lot at a glance, iPhone’s SE line of smartphones usually has a cheaper price tag compared to their flagship siblings. Whereas, the iPhone 16 series that could reach almost INR 1,50,000/- in India with the top-most iteration.
