  • Apple iPhone 20 is coming later next year and we have some major updates coming our way.
  • iPhone 20 will bring an quad-curved display, powered by A21 SoC, and a Silicon Anode battery tech on-board.
  • iPhone 20 launches next year to commemorate Apple's 20th anniversary after the fist-ever iPhone was launched back in 2007.

Looks like we got our hands on the first look at the iPhone 20 concept video that could bring one of the biggest changes in iPhone history. From an under-display front camera to a nearly bezel-less display, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming iPhone 20 launching later next year.

The folks at the YouTube channel fpt., hosted by Jon Prosser, released a video showing the iPhone 20 concept video. Although the phone is still 1.5 years away, it seems like it has reached early stages of production. Cut to now; we have this video showing the various upgrades the iPhone 20 brings to the table.

iPhone 20 concept shows it going near bezel-less

Although nothing is official yet- after all, it is Apple we are talking about that likes to keep things discreet- the video showing the phone is promising. The iPhone 20 concept video shows a nearly bezel-less display with glass flowing across all four edges. From what we could discern, the edges are curved and not flat. In fact, Apple wants to go for curved edges and beyond to give iPhone 20 a more premium look.

On the back, we have an iPhone 17 Air-inspired camera bump, but instead of a single sensor, we could see two sensors on board. One of the latest additions is Apple’s HDR10+ camera that can improve photography in various lighting conditions and increase the dynamic range on the device.

Apple could be weighing in Face ID on the device as well. In fact, with the first-ever implementation of an under-display front cam on an iPhone, the upcoming model could be in for a treat.

iPhone 20 could bring major design changes

Summarizing the video, we could see a quad-curved display with a special anti-reflective coating on-board. It is important to have this coating as Apple plays around with the display tech made by Samsung to enhance display brightness. Next up, we have no Dynamic Island on-board, and instead, there’s an under-display cam with Face ID on-board.

We will see the Apple A21 chipset on the iPhone 20. It is likely based on the 2nm manufacturing process. Seems like Intel and Samsung could be producing the same, albeit in portions.
The capacitive button(s) are set to return on the iPhone 20 as per the sources. With great haptic feedback, capacitive button(s) may bring power buttons or other functions to life.

Another major hardware change that we could see on the iPhone 20 is the silicon anode battery. It is very similar to OnePlus’ Glacier battery technology, where the size of the batteries doesn’t change; however, the capacity is enhanced by a lot.

Apple is playing a lot with the curves. It means the display has curved edges on all four sides, there are curved sides with highly reflective surfaces, and the back plate has curves on all four sides as well. There’s a curved camera bump that ensures the latter is not just raised but rather raised gracefully.

The Apple iPhone 20 release date is around next September (2027). It is likely Apple will skip the iPhone 19 series entirely, and instead, the iPhone 20 will arrive to commemorate the iPhone’s 20th anniversary after its maiden launch in 2007.
