For weeks we were able to gaze upon the leaks and renders of a OnePlus device, but we weren’t quite sure if it was the OnePlus 5T or the OnePlus 6. OnePlus suddenly thought that the OnePlus 5 wasn’t popular anymore and hence it’s now gone, by that I mean you cannot buy it anymore. Less than a year after realising the most powerful smartphone from them and now they say that they’ve ran out of units to sell. Well then, that means we are in for a treat.

Since OnePlus 5 is no longer here, it raises speculation about which smartphone will they launch next. With that being said, Carl Pei, OnePlus Co-founder recently tweeted a day or two ago, he almost confirms the release of 5T, although there’s no news on when will it be coming. Rumours are that they are planning to launch it somewhere in between November, not sure though.

In a recent leak, we got to see the front and rear renders of the OnePlus 5T. Looks like OnePlus will be going with the trend of Bezel-less designs with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

As you can see in the images above, the OP5T might feature a 6-inch screen with the 18:9 aspect ratio. The bezels on the top and bottom are lowered as compared to the OnePlus 5. And this time there’s no home button on the bottom.

On the rear end is a dual camera setup with flash. The fingerprint sensor has been migrated in this particular device. The fingerprint scanner is placed right above the OnePlus logo and it’s square-shaped. Rumors suggest the OP5T might come with the same camera sensors as seen on the OP5. The Selfie camera may pack in a 16-MegaPixel shooter.

Also, it’s said that the OnePlus 5T won’t feature the audio jack. The device may be powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset and might be priced around $452. What do you think about these leaks and renders?
