Apple is about to hold one of the biggest launch event of 2019 apart from the launch of the iPhone later this year. The event better known as Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is next week and it is a place the tech juggernaut introduces new OS updates and products. It is clear that Apple is speculated to launch its standalone apps for Podcasts and Music at the WWDC 2019 and it this particular reported is related to the latter.
According to leaked screenshots sourced by 9to5Mac’s Guilherme Rambo, the screenshot shows how both Apple TV and Apple Music app for Mac will appear once Apple rolls out the upcoming macOS 10.15 at the event. Although Rambo actually redacted the image a bit to keep his source discrete, the screenshots do give an overall lock at what we can expect from the two upcoming apps for Mac systems.
First up is the Apple Music for Mac which has got an iTunes-esque look with a bar on the left featuring categories and libraries that will sort the songs in ‘Recently Added’, ‘Songs’, ‘Albums’ and other categories. It also has a playlist option were users can actually save their favorite to-go songs they want to hear by creating a playlist.
Finally, the screenshot shows an empty screen which hints that the content must have been deleted to protect source’s identity although we can see the control panel on the top of the app that controls play and pause, next and previous along with volume and other options. We can also see how Apple Music app on upcoming macOS 10.15 includes ‘For You’, ‘Browse’ and ‘Radio’ section as well. But there’s no hint alledged Podcasts app from Apple like we have been hearing about for a while now.
Moving on, we have a standalone retouched Apple TV with a primary toolbar with options like ‘Watch Now’, ‘Movies’, ‘TV Shows’, ‘Kids’ and ‘Library’ while the entire UI appeared to have been inspired from Apple iTunes which adds a premium look to it.
