Lenovo has made it clear that it will be entering the gaming smartphone market soon. Last month, the company confirmed that its upcoming gaming phone will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. Perhaps the folks at Pricebaba might have been able to snag the renders for the same phone as they were submitted to the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).

The renders and the images covering all the angles of the phone with two distinct color variants – Grey and Red, show the phone in its full glory. Starting with the display, it is tall with equal-sized bezels around its top and bottom edge. The top bezel appears to hold a front camera as well. Moving on, you’ll see the power button and volume rockers to the right along with an alert slider and an additional button which could be for switching into gaming mode just like we have already seen with Nubia Red Magic 3S.

There’s a SIM tray, speaker grille, and a USB Type-C port at the bottom so bid goodbye to the 3.5mm headphone jack. Interestingly enough, the phone has an additional USB Type-C port on the left so at least you can plug in the headphones and charge at the same time. Also, if you look closely, there are two sections on the top edge that appears as pogo pins or it could be outlet and inlet went for the liquid cooling mechanism or so.

Flip the phone and you’ll see a giant ‘LEGION’ branding possibly lit by LED although it is not lit in the renders. The back panel is transparent at places and exhibits a rather Iron Man-ish look, to be honest. There’s a triple camera setup arranged in a vertical stack which has become a topic of discussion since a previous render that appeared on Weibo shows dual cameras arranged in a horizontal stack.

It is assumed that this could be a previous prototype also because of the clear ‘855’ branding at the back which means Snapdragon 855 while we already know the upcoming Legion gaming phone will run on Snapdragon 865.

There’s a ‘COOL’ branding at the back as well which dictates its liquid cooling mechanism that’ll keep the phone cool when it undergoes strenuous tasks like intensive gaming sessions.

It is yet to be confirmed if the render discovered by Pricebaba is final or if there will be further changes to it. Anyways, the upcoming Lenovo Legion will bring a massive 5,050 mAh battery under the hood that will be coupled with a 55W fast charging technology capable of juicing up the battery to 100% is probably an hour as I assume although it is yet to be confirmed as well.

Perhaps the only way to find out more is to wait for an official announcement from Lenovo that we will keep you updated here on TrueTech.
