Google Pixel 10 specs leaked ahead of launch
Display
According to Android Headlines, the upcoming Google Pixel 10 is expected to have a 6.3-inch screen. This display will be a Full HD+ AMOLED LTPS panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. One big upgrade is how bright the screen can get. It’s rumored to reach a peak of 3,000 nits, which is a jump from the Pixel 9’s 2,700 nits. This means you’ll be able to see the screen much better outdoors and enjoy more vibrant HDR content. To keep the screen safe from scratches and drops, it will reportedly be covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which is a tough type of glass.
Performance
Powering the Pixel 10 is Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, built on a 3 nm process by TSMC. The chipset features a CPU architecture consisting of one Cortex-X4 core, five Cortex-A725 cores, and two Cortex-A520 cores. Graphics are expected to be handled by a PowerVR two-core IMG DXT-48-1536 GPU clocked at 1.1GHz. With by 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256 GB of storage, the Pixel 10 promises better performance and efficiency across the board.
Camera
Earlier leaks have suggested that the Google Pixel 10 will change its camera setup. Instead of having larger main and ultra-wide sensors, it’s expected to feature a new 5x telephoto lens to improve its zoom abilities. The phone is rumored to come with a 50MP main camera (using a Samsung GN8 sensor), a 13MP ultra-wide camera (with a Sony IMX712 sensor), and a 10.8MP telephoto sensor (a Samsung 3J1). This telephoto lens is said to be capable of up to 8x high-resolution zoom. For taking selfies and video calls, the front of the device will likely have a 10.5MP camera that can record 4K video at 60fps and supports face unlock.
However, features like Ultra Res Zoom and ultra-stable video recording are reportedly reserved for the Pro models.
Battery and charging
Battery capacity is getting a modest bump from 4,700mAh in the Pixel 9 to 4,970mAh in the Pixel 10. Wired fast charging is rated at 29W, while wireless charging will support the Qi2 standard at 15W, ensuring quicker and more efficient top-ups. Despite these upgrades, the device reportedly lacks vapor chamber cooling, a feature increasingly common in competing flagships.
Google Pixel 10 is getting a slightly bigger battery, going from 4,700mAh in the Pixel 9 to 4,970mAh. For charging, it will support 29W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging with the new Qi2 standard, making power-ups quicker and more efficient. However, even with these upgrades, the phone reportedly won’t have vapor chamber cooling, a feature found in many other top-tier phones.
Connectivity and other features
Google Pixel 10 will run on Android 15 out of the box and offer both nano-SIM and eSIM support. Other features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and IP68 dust and water resistance. Connectivity options cover 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C 3.2 port. Interestingly, despite the Pixel 9 supporting it, the Pixel 10 may lack Wi-Fi 7.

Launch timeline
According to industry sources, the Google Pixel 10 series will likely be officially revealed on August 20, 2025. You’ll probably be able to pre-order the phones starting on that same day, with shipping expected to begin about a week later, on August 28, in certain countries.
