It has been a while since we started hearing stuff about upcoming Lenovo Z6 Pro with what Lenovo is calling a Hyper Video technology and more. Apparently, the smartphone is about to be officially launched at an event in Beijing on Tuesday where Lenovo will announce not just the Hyper Video technology that comes with the phone but also the entire device that we earlier suspected to a have a single rear camera.

However, based on the photos and teaser posted by Lenovo VP, the Weibo posts show a quad-camera assembly arranged in a vertical stack at the back with three cameras in a camera ring while the fourth sensor is arranged just below the ring differently. We don’t know much about the sensor types such as it could be a combination of telephoto, wide angle and even ultra-wide angle and lastly, a ToF 3D depth sensor to name a few that have been making rounds. The primary sensor has a 48MP lens which makes it a beast and cited by the fact that an upcoming smartphone with model number L78051 that reports assume as Lenovo Z6 Pro, has scored 403,077 points on AnTuTu.

Note that if the scores are indeed for Lenovo Z6 Pro, this means that the device is ultra fast than most of the devices with Snapdragon 855 such as Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer scored 372072 points on AnTuTu last month which is again the maximum score for any smartphone sporting a Snapdragon 855 while ZTE Nubia Red Magic Mars scores 315200 points on a 10nm Snapdragon 845 chipset which is a feat in itself considering the fact that all other smartphones mentioned in the given list sport a 7nm chip.

A few weeks ago, Lenovo introduced its Hyper Video Technology according to which, the device will have a 100MP camera setup which although isn’t a single sensor but collectively, it can be said that the device will have 100MP sensors overall which include its quad-camera setup and front single camera setup.

Other bits of information that we would consolidate prior to its April 23rd launch is that the device will offer 90% screen-to-body ratio with an in-display FPS. It will run on Snapdragon 855 as said paired with RAM of up to 12GB which means there could be a number of variants available too. The device will Snapdragon X50 5G modem to allow 5G connectivity and so on.

Stay tuned on April 23 to get more updates on Lenovo Z6 Pro and other tech-related stuff on True-Tech.
