LG G8X Won’t Come With a Charger during Flipkart Sale

Bill Billion Days Sale is around the corner and a lot of tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting to see what Flipkart is hiding under its sleeve for its biggest sale of the year. It is already revealed that LG’s G8X device will sell for less than half of its launch price. The G8X is a flagship Snapdragon 855 powered device which comes with a dual-screen. The device is launched for Rs. 49,999 in India. But when the sale begins the device will sell for Rs. 19,999.

There are a lot of tweets and messages passing around social media around the LG G8x will not come with the power adapter in the box. After reading all these comments, Ash from C4ETech (Technology YouTube Channel) took it to Twitter tweeting with a query by tagging LG India. Later, the official Twitter account revealed that the G8x will not come with a charger during the festive sale.

LG further adds that the users will have to purchase a charger separately at the LG service centre. Also there have been a lot of speculations around that the company is sending out the refurbished units during the sale. But it is also clarified that the phone is new and not refurbished. Now, this clears the air around the LG G8x.

It is kind of surprising that the phone is not shipping without the charger. To recall the retail unit when launched shipped with a charger inside the box. The device is still listed for 54,990 and these units are reported to come with chargers packed inside the box. As far as the specifications are concerned, the LG G8X boasts a 6.4-inch OLED full-HD+ display and comes with a waterdrop notch. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla 6.

Under the hood, as mentioned earlier, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. As for the optics, there is a dual rear camera setup on the back of the device with a 12 MP primary sensor coupled with 13 MP ultra-wide angle sensor. There is a 32 MP front facing camera embedded in the waterdrop notch and the fingerprint sensor in a in-display type. The device come with a stereo speakers setup with 3D surround sound and Hi-Fi Quad DAC. All this is backed by a 4000 mAh battery which does support 21W quick charging and 9W wireless charging.
