List of smartphones launching in April 2026

It was perhaps the last moment when Samsung finally rolled out the affordable A37 5G—successor to the A36 5G.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G packs the same design as the A36 (no surprise there) with a flat profile and Key Island layout for volume rockers and a power button; there’s a 6.7” Super AMOLED FHD+ panel with 1,900 nits of peak brightness and a 5,000mAh battery pack, which appears to be the sheer size of the battery pack on-board paired with 45W charging tech. The phone arrives with an Exynos 1430 SoC, 8GB/12GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, and a 50MP+8MP+5MP rear plus a 12MP front camera setup.
Talking about the pricing, we have three variants for the A37 5G, i.e., the entry-level 8GB+128GB at INR 41,999/-, the mid-tier 8GB+256GB at INR 47,999/-, and the highest at 12GB+256GB at INR 52,999/-
Samsung Galaxy A57 5G
Launched: March 26
A higher version than the A37 5G, the successor to the Galaxy A56 5G, the all-new Galaxy A57 5G reigns in with similar specs and design elements as the A56 5G. There’s an Exynos 1680 SoC under the hood paired with up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a giant 6.7” FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED panel. It has the same camera specs as A37 5G, i.e., 50MP+12MP+5MP shooters at the back plus a 12MP selfie cam. There’s a 5,000mAh battery under the hood rated at 4,905mAh typically.
Vivo V70 FE
Launched: April 2
Vivo has unveiled yet another V70 series offering lined up on April 2nd, 2026. Dubbed the Vivo V70 FE (aka Fan Edition), the phone is bringing up a humongous 200MP primary snapper and a new Monsoon Blue colorway with a glow-in-the-dark finish using a Darkness Glow material that emits a subtle glow in low-light conditions.
The phone brings a 6.83″ 1.5K AMOLED panel boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and a 32MP shooter sitting on top. There’s a 7,000mAh battery under the hood. The phone uses a Dimensity 7360 Turbo SoC that slots it in the upper mid-range category. The phone brings 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM; there’s an in-display fingerprint sensor, and it has an IP68 and IP69 rating on top. When it comes to Vivo V70 FE pricing, the phone sits at ₹19,999 for the base variant.

The Realme 16 5G has arrived in India weeks after its launch in Vietnam. The phone brings a huge 7,000mAh battery on-board with a slim 8.1mm profile. The phone features an iPhone Air-inspired design with a pill-shaped camera bump at the back that extends across the width of the back panel housing a “Selfie Mirror.”
The Realme 16 5G features a 6.57” panel with up to 4,200 nits of peak brightness. A 6,050mm2 vapor cooling chamber lies under the hood, taking care of the heating issues. The phone has 3 years of Android OS and 4 years of security patches and has two color options, i.e., Air White and Air Black. A Dimensity 6400 Turbo SoC drives the phone, which is practically the same chipset as the Vietnamese edition.

There’s a 108MP primary snapper, a 45W wired charge, and a price tag of ₹19,999 in India for the base variant.
OnePlus Nord 6

OnePlus is preparing yet another smartphone for its lineup. Dubbed as the OnePlus Nord 6, the evident successor to the Nord 5, the phone is launching in India sometime in early April (we don’t have a date yet). The phone brings a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC under the hood, paired with a 6.78” 1.5K AMOLED 165Hz panel; a 32MP selfie shooter sits at the front, and a 50MP cam with OIS plus a 2MP camera are at the back.
The phone brings a 9,000mAh battery under the chassis, paired alongside 80W fast-charging tech. The leaks suggest a silver, mint, and black colorway on the phone. Plus, we have options to choose from, i.e., 8 GB+256 GB and 12GB+256GB. It is likely to rival Xiaomi’s POCO X8 Pro Max, which has a 9,000mAh battery as well.
Ai+ Nova 2 series (India)
Launch Date: April 9
Ai+ is launching the new Nova 2 series on April 9 via Flipkart in India. The series will see the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Ultra, while three other models are in line for release in the coming months, which will be dubbed the Nova 2 Pro, Nova 2 Neo, and Nova Flip. Madhav Sheth of Realme’s fame, the CEO at Ai+ Smartphone, says that the Nova series will redefine smartphone means for the people.
According to reports, the Ai+ Nova 2 5G is speculated to bring an HD+ panel, a Unisoc-based chipset under the hood with an A76 and A55 core setup, and 4GB of RAM, all of which are apt for average use. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about the Nova 2 series. The Nova 2 Ultra will be available in red, purple, green, blue, and black colorways. There’s a customizable light ring on the Ultra that gives it a unique personality compared to the vanilla Nova 2 5G.
OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra (China)
Launch Date: April 2026 (Rumored)
An unknown OnePlus Ace 6 variant is in the works with a Dimensity 9500 SoC under the hood. The phone is slated to arrive in China in April 2026 and might host features such as a 165Hz refresh rate, just as the OnePlus 15T. In fact, Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo cited the device in the works could be named the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, although the official update remains elusive.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra
Launch Date: April 2026 (Expected)
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is going official as early as this month. This will be a global launch marking it as the first outside China. Imbibing an Ultra gene, the phone brings a 10x hybrid or 5x optical zoom onboard, proving it instrumental in a revolution in mobile photography.
The X9 Ultra brings a 200MP Sony LYTIA 901 snapper on board, plus a 200MP periscope shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP 10x telephoto quad-camera setup. The phone has a 6.82″ 2K LTPO OLED panel and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC under the hood, plus a ginormous 7,000mAh battery on top. The Ultra devices were earlier China-exclusive; however, the X9 Ultra is breaking the barrier. There’s no launch date yet; however, the teasers put the April launch in the limelight, so we are speculating the same.
