As we roll into the next month, True-Tech is back with the list of smartphones launching in August 2025. We try to cover every major phone launch happening every month, and this won’t be any exception. Knowing the upcoming models helps tech enthusiasts and interested buyers stay updated with the upcoming offerings from various phone makers. The goal is to educate our readers on upcoming phones and whether they should wait to buy a new phone or stick to the ones launched a month before.

August 2025 brings a lot to the table, with the usual suspects coming from Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, etc. We are eagerly waiting for the Google Pixel 10 series to drop by as well. We already got our hands on a ton of new devices in July 2025, but the next month inches a bit further, and here’s what we have in store for you.

List of smartphones launching in August 2025:

Vivo Y400 5G

Launch Date: August 4

Vivo is expected to roll out the Vivo Y400 5G in India on August 5. Not to be mistaken for Vivo Y400 4G, which was launched a bit earlier. The phone is a 5G upgrade and features two colorways to choose from – Olive Green and Glam White. The phone brings a 6,000mAh battery under the hood, 90W fast charging tech, and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC drives the device alongside 8GB RAM. On the software front, we have Android 15-powered FuntouchOS 15, with a ton of AI features – AI Documents, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, etc.

On the front, we have a 6.67″ 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED panel, a combination of IP68 and IP69 ingress rating, and a ton of AI features to enjoy. There’s a 50MP Sony IMX852 cam at the back handling all your camera requirements.

Vivo V60

Launch Date: August 12

Confirmed to make its debut in India, Vivo V60 made its presence strong with ZEISS optics on board its triple 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. The device features a 6.67” AMOLED 1.5K panel, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC under the hood, and an IP68/69 rating against water and dust. The phone, a rebranded version of Vivo S30 (China), sports a 6,500mAh battery paired alongside 90W fast charging tech and is likely to retail between INR 37,000/- to INR 40,000/-.

Oppo K13 Turbo Series

Launch Date: August 15-20

Oppo’s K13 Turbo series is launching in India after the Chinese debut a few days ago. We will be getting two models in the market aka K13 Turbo 5G and K13 Turbo Pro 5G, both targeted towards performance segment, and will be available via Flipkart. We are assuming the specs to be similar to that of Chinese Oppo K13 Turbo Series. It also means Oppo is bringing built-in cooling fans on-board K13 Turbo series that helps with heat dissipation and eventually, unlocks better performance.

Google Pixel 10 Series

Launch Date: August 20

Pixel 10 Series Teaser

Do I need to introduce the Google Pixel 10 Series? Even though the series is still a few weeks away, we are quite certain that everyone knows about it anyway. The series comprises Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and we are quite certain the nomenclature for these models won’t change.

Talking about the specs, the series will have a Tensor G5 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, and a 50+40+48MP snapper on the Pro and XL. The charging speeds could have improved, but for now, we have 29W on the vanilla Pixel 10, and 39W on the XL, and so on. You see, Pixel phones aren’t over the top when it comes to specs; however, they are built differently. For instance, there’s Android 16 out of the box, and there’s not a speck of doubt I have that it will see at least seven major Android OS upgrades. If you doubt, I think you should check the predecessors.

Xiaomi Redmi 15C

Launch Date: Mid-August 2025

Xiaomi is on its way to launch yet another banger in its budget cadre. Dubbed as Redmi 15C, the phone is expected to arrive around mid-August at a price tag under INR 15,000/-. It will have a MediaTek Helio G81 SoC under the hood and a 6,000mAh battery powers the device alongside 33W fast charging tech.

Redmi 15C, one of the smartphones launching in August 2025, will have a 50MP rear and a 16MP front camera, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an overall classy appearance, making it a lucrative choice to wait for.

Lava Agni 4

Launch Date: August 2025*

Indian smartphone brand Lava is working on a smartphone as well. Slated to arrive sometime in August, the phone in question is Agni 4. It features MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC, a much-needed improvement over Dimensity 7300X on the Agni 3.

According to the folks at 91Mobiles, Lava Agni 4 could arrive at a price tag of INR 25,000/- in India. Apparently, we have seen renders of the device thanks to the courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar, featuring a pill-shaped rear camera island offering two lenses (possibly two 50MP snappers) and an LED flash. It is speculated to house a 6.78″ FHD+ panel with 120Hz refresh rate, and rumored to arrive with a 7,000mAh battery pack.

Honor Magic V Flip2

Launch Date: August 2025*

Well, not official at least at the time of writing this, we have got a whiff that Honor is preparing for the launch of its next-gen clamshell device dubbed Magic V Flip2. This will be the successor to last year’s Magic V Flip2 and will see a larger battery of 5800mAh, 66W or 80W fast charging tech, and a Snapdragon 8 ‘sub-flagship’ chipset, probably Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC.

There’s a lot happening under the hood, though. The clamshell-styled phone will arrive with dual LTPO AMOLED panels and a 50MP dual rear camera setup. It remains to be seen what Honor has thought about the upcoming flagship.

Meizu 22

Launch Date: August 2025*

We don’t have the official date yet but reports suggest we could get our hands on Meizu 22 (in China) sometime in August 2025. Apparently, it has one the world’s thinnest bezels on a smartphone at 1.2mm using a self-developed LIPO process. Other specs include Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 5500mAh battery with 90W fast charging tech. It is perhaps going big on imagine as well since Meizu wants to make its phones the focal when it comes to mobile photography.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro+

Launch Date: August 2025*

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is expected to roll out in China this month as well, albeit nothing is official at the time of writing this. Apparently, it will be the first Redmi smartphone to feature satellite messaging functionality, as the certificate spotted on MIIT. This is perhaps the first for Redmi, given the fact that neither the premium cadre Redmi K nor the K Ultra series offers this feature.

Speaking for the specs, we have a Snapdragon 7s Series SoC under the hood, a 7000mAh battery, a 50MP primary, and a large 50MP telephoto lens at the back. We don’t know much about the offering; however, it is soon to launch and you could wait for it should Xiaomi decide to launch it outside China.

Conclusion

We tried getting the exhaustive list of smartphones launching in August 2025. Of course, we couldn’t possibly list every phone debuting this month, as some phones launch silently without much fanfare, or they are launching in a specific market, such as Vietnam or Malaysia, etc.

However, we are proud that our list of smartphones launching has grown insanely as we have been doing it for a while (and many tech sites have on-boarded this listicle as well). If you are done with the August 2025 listicle, you can read the July 2025 listicle or head over to this section of smartphones launching in previous months.
