As the MWC event is nearing, we’ve been dealing with a lot of leaks and rumours here and there. Xiaomi’s 2018 flagship Mi 7 is one of the leaks that was expected until now to be unveiled at the MWC 2018. But the people at AndroidHeadlines confirmed that the phone is most likely to be excluded from one of the grandest tech events of the year. Since the source confirms that there won’t be any big launches from the company this year, the Mi 7 will also take Mi Max 3 down with itself.

The Mi 7 leaks have been flying around for some time now and there’s another one to add to the list. A leak about the pricing of the device was seen yesterday. Sources claim that the phone will be costlier than the Mi 6 and it’s most likely to be priced around at 3000 Yuan ( approximately Rs. 30,202 ). Also, the Xiaomi flagship will be coming with wireless charging, for a change.

Some sources allude to a 5.65-inch full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, while a Mi 7 Plus variant may probably come with a 6.1-inch OLED display. The Mi 7 will most likely arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM. Also, there are rumours about the Plus variant that suggest it may pack 8GB of RAM.

The device may come with a 20MP selfie shooter with the much-loved portrait mode, which was seen on the Pixel 2 before. According to some reports, the Mi 7 might come with facial recognition and also it’ll be the first smartphone from the company to pack the Qi wireless charging.
