- New features for Xbox Insiders include 10 customizable Home screen groups and specific toggles for Quick Resume.
Microsoft has released a fresh package of updates for Xbox players this March, focusing on personalization, cross-platform gaming, and expanding its cloud gaming ecosystem. The Xbox March 2026 update brings new console features, game additions, and major improvements to enhance the overall gaming experience.
Xbox Insiders get early access to new features
Earlier this month, Microsoft rolled out several long-requested features to Xbox Insiders for testing. These updates are designed to give players more control over how their console looks and behaves.
Players can now add up to 10 customizable groups to their Home screen, making it easier to organize games and apps. There’s also a new custom color option, allowing users to personalize their console theme.

Another useful addition is improved control over Quick Resume. Players can now turn it off for specific games, ensuring those titles always launch fresh instead of resuming from a previous session.
In the Guide, profiles now display the five most recently earned badges, adding a subtle social and achievement-focused element.
Microsoft says these features will roll out more broadly after testing is complete.
