Moto C Plus, the second smartphone in the budget C-series, will be launching in India this Monday. The company had announced the Moto C earlier this month, and we are getting a better-specced phone in the series just a couple of weeks later.

Moto C Plus

The Moto C Plus is just a slightly better variant of the Moto C, but the design of the two phones is quite identical. The biggest feature that will lure the budget smartphone buyers is its large 4000mAh battery. The company claimed that battery to last 30 hours on a single charge and it will also support quick charging tech with 10W rapid charger. On the other hand, the Moto C has a battery capacity of 2350mAh.

Another improvement can be seen in the display which now has a resolution of 720p on the same 5-inch display. The dual-SIM phone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6737 processor and will be accompanied by 1GB/2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Android 7.0 Nougat will come preloaded on the device.

An 8MP camera sits on the back, inside Moto’s iconic circular camera housing along with an LED flash, while there is a 2MP camera on the front, and that too has an LED flash. 3.5mm headphone jack is retained in the device and it also supports 4G VoLTE if you want to use it with Reliance Jio.

Moto confirmed through a Facebook post that the Moto C Plus would be a Flipkart exclusive and the announcement will be made on June 19 at 12 PM.

The Moto C was launched at a price of Rs. 5,999 and it is targeted at the first-time smartphone buyers. With all the better specs and features, the Moto C Plus is expected to be priced a little higher than the Moto C but should be lower than the Moto E3 Power. The official pricing details will be known at the launch.
