Now, it looks like we have a new development on the upcoming Moto G5, that is expected to be announced in just over two weeks at the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona. The budget smartphone that will mark the successor to the Moto G4 will cost €189 for 2/16GB variant and €209 for 3/16GB variant. It’s interesting that these prices are lower than the initial price of the Moto G4, which cost about €249 when launched in May 2016.

The leak comes from the Twitter user, Roland Quandt who also gave us a glimpse at the Moto G5 and confirmed the availability of the 2/16GB version of the smartphone earlier.
Roland also tweeted earlier that the Moto G5 will feature a Sony IMX362 sensor, with F1.7 aperture lens, and support phase focusing. Apart from that, the smartphone is expected to sport a 5.2-inch display, 2GHz octa-core processor, 3000 mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging technology, fingerprint sensor, and NFC support.
The Moto G5 along with G5 Plus and G5 Play, are expected to be announced at the Motorola’s (or should I say Lenovo) MWC event, scheduled for Feb 26th.
