Motorola One Fusion+ Spotted on YouTube Device Report with Quad Rear Cameras, Snapdragon 730, 5000 mAh battery, and more

Motorola launched the Edge and Edge+ back in April and made its return into the flagship smartphone series. Recently, Lenovo-owned company has also unveiled its entry-level smartphone Motorola G8 Power Lite which will go on sale by the end of this month. We already know that the company is planning to mark its name in the mid-range segment by unveiling two smartphones by the end of June. Now, one of the smartphones dubbed Motorola One Fusion+ surfaced on YouTube Device report webpage ahead of the official announcement.

YouTube Device Report is a page where the platform publishes a list of devices that offer a great YouTube video experience. The device report page not only revealed the key specifications of the device but also tipped the device’s possible launch timeline. The listing also includes an image of the device with some specifications, but that is not the actual Motorola One Fusion+. The listing shows specifications of Motorola One Fusion+ but with an image of Motorola Edge which is already launched.

When checked the Motorola Edges listing, you can see the image of an unknown smartphone. Some of the reports suggest that the image on Motorola Edge’s listing could possibly be the Motorola One Fusion+ smartphone. It is possible that YouTube has swapped the pictures of these two devices mistakenly. If you closely look at the image of Motorola One Fusion+ you can understand that the device is going to come with a quad-camera setup on the back of the device.

Considering the fingerprint sensor on the back, we could expect the device to come with an IPS LCD display. Also, the display seems to be a notch-free one, as we’re not able to spot the punch-hole or waterdrop notch, which means the Motorola One Fusion+ is likely to come with a pop-up selfie camera. The power key and the volume rockers are retained to the right side of the device along with an unknown key. This could possibly be the Google Assistant key. Also, the device comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Motorola One Fusion+ Specifications (Expected)

The Motorola One Fusion+ boasts a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Considering the IPS LCD display, we will miss out on the in-display fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back of the device. The aspect ratio of this display is 20:9 with a comes with a pixel density of 401 PPI.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC. The SoC here integrates eight cores divided into two clusters. One of the clusters contains two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.2 GHz and power efficiency cluster with six small ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked up to 1.8 GHz. Adreno 618 handles the graphic duties here. The device is expected to come in two variants including 4 GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The top variant could come with 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage.

As for the optics, the Motorola One Fusion+ comes with a Quad-Rear camera setup with 64 MP primary sensor with F/1.8 aperture and 1.8um pixel size. The secondary unit is a 5 MP telephoto sensor. The tertiary is an 8 MP sensor but an ultra-wide-angle sensor with F/2.3 aperture. Lastly, we can expect a 2 MP macro sensor for close up shots or a depth-sensing unit. On the front, we can expect an 8 MP pop-up camera or a punch-hole display notch camera. The Motorola One Fusion runs Android 10 with Moto UI on top. Moto UI is near to stock experience and comes with a few Moto features here an there. The rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type C, and 3.5mm headphone jack take an account here. All this is powered by a 5000 mAh battery.
