A cryptic post from Nothing on Monday took the tech community by storm. It could’ve been either CMF Phone 1 or Nothing Phone 3 as speculated. As per a tipster on X, the pictured image shows a part called “Nothing Lock” and it is a part of CMF Phone 1 rumored to arrive next month.
We now have alleged images of the upcoming CMF Phone 1 adorning a thick protective accessory covering the various features onboard the device. Speaking about Nothing Lock, it is a feature that allows users to pair proprietary accessories with the device including lanyards and support brackets.

Detailed specifications for the upcoming CMF Phone 1 flew in from nowhere. The phone bearing model number A015 is slated to feature a 6.7” 120Hz OLED panel albeit with thick bezels. There’s a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC under the hood paired with 128GB/256GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. It runs on Android 14-powered Nothing OS 2.6 out-of-the-box.
