Nothing Phone (1) is just a few days away and we have already received a tonne of information about the device beforehand. Turns out the latest report mentions that the upcoming premium mid-range smartphone will get a 33W fast charging tech at 11V 3A. It’s not just the charging tech but we have known a couple of things about the upcoming smartphone that looks majestic in its renders.
Nothing Phone (1) to get 33W fast charging tech
The upcoming Nothing Phone (1) is slated to get an 11V 3A charging tech which is equal to 33W. Although Nothing could have gone for a faster charging tech than 33W, the current configuration seems in place given the midrange state of the device.
The phone has been TUV Sud rated with a charging brick that goes upwards of 45W. It remains to be seen if Nothing packs in the said charging brick with the phone’s original retail box or if it is a part of the extra purchase.
Nothing Phone (1) confirmed to get Snapdragon 778G+
For the uninitiated, Nothing has already confirmed the fact that the Nothing Phone (1) is using a custom-made Snapdragon 778G+ giving it the ability to wireless and reverse wireless charging unavailable on the Snapdragon 778G SoC. Nothing and Qualcomm partnered to roll out the Snapdragon 778G+ exclusively for Nothing Phone (1).
Nothing Phone (1) to get 120Hz refresh rate
The Phone (1) looks magnificent with its semi-transparent back panel with a glyph sign paired with LEDs. Talking about yet another update, reports state that the company could roll out a 120Hz refresh rate with the phone. Apart from that, the device could get an in-display fingerprint reader as well to compete with the likes in the same premium mid-range sector.

To give a recap on the specs sheet, the phone is likely to sport a 6.55” OLED punch-hole panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and the bezels look decently sized. Moving on, it features a custom-made Snapdragon 778G+ 5G SoC along with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. There’s a 4500mAh battery under the hood paired alongside 33W fast charging tech.
