Back in March, we saw the Nothing Phone (3a) series, and with that, Nothing’s Carl Pei said there’s nothing more to add. However, now we are learning that Nothing is working on Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, a lighter version of Phone (3a) that recently made it to the rumor mills.
Nothing Phone 3a Lite rumored specifications
According to tipster XpertPick and Sudhanshu Ambore, Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is likely in the pipeline with a single storage configuration of 8GB+128GB. There are also two color options to choose from, i.e., White and Black, viola! Apparently, this is all we know about the upcoming Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, although we understand there can be more storage combos and colorways available for specific markets as well.
Nothing is expected to launch the Phone (3a) Lite globally, which means India will get their share of the lighter version too. Unfortunately, there’s nothing much to add, at least at the time of writing this. We are hoping to hear more about the phone in the coming days, thanks to subsequent leaks that will follow.
Nothing launched the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro in March this year as a supposedly lighter version of Phone (3). Adding another device, calling it a lite version, seems like Nothing is trying to bank on all price points, given the fact that it already has entry-level devices under CMF’s branding. Adding yet another lite version that sits between CMF Phone and Nothing Phone (3a) might make the catalog too saturated.
It remains to be seen just how Nothing plays this feat once the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite launches sometime soon.
