Carl Pei’s Nothing is gearing up for its big launch aka Nothing Phone (1) this summer. However, it refrained from announcing any dates at the moment. Well, when has it stopped leaksters from tipping information? According to a German publication, the Nothing Phone(1) is expected to make its debut on July 21 albeit take it with a pinch of salt.
Nothing Phone(1) launching on July 21
According to the aforementioned statement, Nothing is planning to launch its first phone on July 21st. Although the above piece of information isn’t coming from an official source, the latter is.
Nothing shared a few details about the Nothing Phone(1) according to which, the device sports a transparent back. Carl Pei tweeted that Nothing Phone(1) has a wireless charging coil and it is the one component they choose from 400 others to highlight. If the sketches posted below are true, the phone should look as such.
Apart from that, Nothing is also using recyclable aluminum for the frame as mentioned. The German website quoted above also mentioned that the upcoming device is likely to pick up a price tag of EUR500. This is a flagship killer price given that almost all flagship phones from OnePlus, Samsung, Apple and others are priced at much higher range. It is yet to be seen if the above-mentioned EUR500 price tag is just a rumor or we will get to see it in action once the phone officially arrives.
It goes without saying, some of the information mentioned here are speculated such as the July 21st launch. It is yet to be confirmed by Pei so you will have to take it with a pinch of salt at the moment.
