Four new CMF Phones are coming this year. Apparently, the London-based Nothing has already started teasing its upcoming phones across social media and community pages. The latest to hit the market shows four new CMF phones sporting names of popular Pokémon characters.

Nothing Teases Four CMF Phones: Pokémon-Inspired Names Revealed

The first device, Bulbasaur (#0001), was recently teased by both Nothing India and CMF by Nothing. If reports are accurate, this could be the CMF Phone (2). It is expected to feature a Dimensity 7400 SoC, which is also making its debut in the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion next week. Previously, CMF was rumored to transition from Dimensity to Snapdragon chipsets, but the latest leaks suggest otherwise.

Additionally, the alleged CMF Phone (2) has surfaced online, showcasing a triple rear camera setup, possibly including an ultra-wide sensor. The phone will reportedly retain its customizable back cover. However, the display size may be reduced to 6.3-inch, compared to the 6.67-inch screen on the CMF Phone (1).

Next, another teaser introduces a device named after Gligar (#0207), followed by Girafarig (#0203) and Hoothoot (#0163). For reference, these Pokémon are classified as FlyScorpion, Long Neck, and Owl Pokémon, respectively.

It is worth noting that these names could also be referring to CMF accessories such as neckbands, TWS earbuds, or smartwatches, possibly successors to last year’s models. The expected launch timeline for these devices is late April or early May 2025.

CMF is known for building anticipation around its products using unique themes. Previously, Nothing used insect names like beetles for teasers. This time, the brand appears to be embracing a Pokémon theme, adding an element of nostalgia and intrigue. We’ll have to wait for official confirmation to get a clearer picture.
