A benchmark listing may have leaked important hardware specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 11 5G, expected to be the successor to the company’s premium 2022 smartphones, the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T, released this year. Despite reports suggesting otherwise, there was no OnePlus 10 released this year. Speculations of a OnePlus Ultra, with improved features and top-tier specifications, also circulated; however, this phone never materialized

The two sets of purported Geekbench 5 CPU benchmarks for the OnePlus 11 create a hazy image of how it will compare against its primary Samsung opponent. I’m not sure what to make of them.

According to the description, the smartphone will be powered by the “Kalama” processor, which will have an Adreno 740 GPU and a maximum clock speed of 1.19 GHz for its 1 + 3 + 4 CPU core arrangement. The information is consistent with a prior statement from OnePlus stating that the OnePlus 11 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. On February 7 in India, OnePlus is planning to release the OnePlus 11 5G.

The single-core and multi-core scores indicate that the next gen smartphone will have greater power than handsets powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, while the listing doesn’t disclose any other details. Furthermore, it is a certain that the OnePlus 11 will have 16GB of RAM, albeit this may just apply to the most expensive variant. There may still be 8GB or 12GB RAM choices available for lower-end models.

Here are the leaked benchmarks of the OnePlus 11

How impressive was the performance of the OnePlus 11? According to Geekbench, the OnePlus 11 either outperforms or falls short of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, depending on whether single-core or multi-core scores are looked at.

Last month, this device’s important specifications were leaked by a reliable tipster, suggesting that it will have a 6.7-inch LTPO display with a 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It is expected to come with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage and either 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM. Although OnePlus has yet to confirm any of this information, the Geekbench results indicate that the 16GB RAM version is possible.

Leaks and teasers for the upcoming OnePlus 11 suggest it will feature a triple camera configuration, headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, paired with a 48MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP telephoto lens. Additionally, a 32MP selfie camera is located on the front.

Press renders have revealed that the three cameras on the rear are housed in a large circular camera hump. The smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. OxygenOS 13, based on Android 13, will be installed on the OnePlus 11 5G.

Moreover, the alert slider and Hasselblad-tuned cameras of past OnePlus flagship phones are likely to return. Given OnePlus’ “quick and smooth” approach, users should anticipate speedy charging technology and good display standards.
