OnePlus 11R Prototype Leak Confirms IR Blaster & Curved Display

The OnePlus 11 series is slated to arrive early next year. As we are closing on the launch date, the influx of news and leaks has gotten stronger. The latest piece of information coming exclusively from the folks at MySmartPrice mentions that the upcoming OnePlus 11R will get the iconic alert slider and a curved display. In fact, images of the IR blaster have leaked as well giving a peek into what you can expect with the upcoming budget flagship smartphone.

MySmartPrice got hands-on pics of the prototype showcasing that it will arrive with the iconic alert slider. With the codename Udon, the device is slated to get a curved display and an IR blaster onboard. There are images of the back camera setup too that you can check out in the pics below.

OnePlus 11R Expected Specifications

OnePlus 11R specifications have been leaking for some time now. As the device inches closer to its debut, we have another set of rumors on the specifications that concretizes it.

According to the update, the OnePlus 11R is likely to get a 120Hz Fluid AMOLED FHD+ HDR10+ panel and yes, a curved display as mentioned previously. A punch-hole shooter sits on top housing a 16MP snapper and an in-display fingerprint scanner sits at the bottom. As pictured, there’s a triple rear camera setup housing a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary, an ultra-wide, and a 2MP shooter. The ultra-wide snapper is likely to be an 8MP or 13MP shooter although that remains to be seen.

Under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC fabbed on a 4nm node and a sureshot upgrade from Dimensity 1300 used on the predecessor. There are 8GB to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with 128GB to 256GB of storage onboard.

OnePlus 11R specifications as known at the moment mention a 5,000mAh battery under the hood paired alongside 100W fast charging tech. The OnePlus 10R arrived with an 80W tech so getting a higher charging tech is better.

Alert sliders that were previously removed from affordable flagships have been added as well. There’s an IR blaster on the 11R that you can use to control external devices.
