Taking risks wasn’t in OnePlus’ bucket list for the OnePlus 3. Being a new company, they wanted to provide an unceasingly flagship performance.
Their game began with their first ever phone, the OnePlus One, which broke through the chart showing off it’s premium specs and brilliant design. Which also gave birth to that weirdo invite system. Following by, came the OnePlus 2, termed as “2016 flagship killer”, couldn’t drive the Never Settle spirit to it’s limits. A simple small NFC lacking made mad wit tumble and toil.
It’s now that the company introduces us to their new flagship for 2016, the OnePlus 3. It sports all the elite specs, an all metal design, adulating features set that hit on the mark, taking further the Never Settle spirit and avoiding compromises alike last year. Without further due, let’s get into the details.

With a massive 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, a Snapdragon 820 at 2.2GHz and Adreno 530 GPU, you can expect flagship tier performance. As OnePlus boasts, it also provides 35% performance boost and 40% graphics boost compared to the OnePlus 2. However, it has no expandable storage which leaves me a little disappointed.
Design
The front of the phone holds an optic-AMOLED 5.5 inch screen along with an earpiece and notification LED on the top. On the bottom lay the fingerprint sensor and the navigation keys. Coming to back, it brings a beautiful metal unibody that holds the antenna lines. The camera on back protrudes a little with the dual LED flash sitting flush besides.
All that we miss about the design are the style-swaps, but let’s call them things of the past, for the industrial feel, OnePlus had to switch to anodised Aluminium body for the OnePlus 3. Coming in at just 7.35mm thin and beautiful curves, the OnePlus 3 is amazing to hold. It also feels lightweight. The OnePlus 3 will be available in graphite and soft gold colours.
The OnePlus 3 is available to purchase without invites from OnePlus official website (world-wide) and from Amazon India below:
