Original article:
Our favorite phone leaker, Evan Blass recently tweeted a ‘Never Settle’ wallpaper, which could mean more than a few things in regards to the upcoming flagship by OnePlus, the OnePlus 4 or the OnePlus 5.
The first thing we noticed from the wallpaper was the resolution. With a 16:9 aspect ratio, the image suggests that the screen will continue to be just 1080p. Of course, 1080p is already enough for most of the task we do daily, in fact, it draws less power, resulting in a better battery life. But the reason why I said ‘just’ is, because well, with the rise of VR over the past year, a 1080p won’t cut it.

The image also shows hints of metal, which could simply suggest that the upcoming OnePlus will maintain the metal body as on the OnePlus 3 and 3T. In addition to that, the material on the surface of the image looks like ceramic, which could mean that we’ll have a ceramic option for the OnePlus 4 or 5 like with the OnePlus X. Lastly, since the full wallpaper has a black ambiance to it, we think there’s going to be a black color variant too. And also, probably a presence of AMOLED Screen.
When Evan Blass posted this on Twitter, he got some replies saying how it’s just a wallpaper available on the Android 7.1.1 beta for OnePlus 3/3T and didn’t have any meaning on its own. On the contrary, as a OnePlus fan, I’m pretty excited to see what they bring to their flagship lineup, so any leak, any little information about it is something of interest for me, so I’m just going to stick to our analysis above.
