By this time, you will be aware that OnePlus is launching multiple smartphones in its flagship lineup this time. OnePlus calls this the OnePlus 7 series. We have credible reports that OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will be announced by the company. It is understood that the OnePlus 7 will not have much difference to last year’s OnePlus 6T. It is also expected to have the same design as its predecessor.
The major changes, however, will be seen in the OnePlus 7 Pro. The OnePlus 7 series launch has already been announced to take place on May 14. As you might have counted, it is just a day away from now. Therefore, we are getting to see the product already being listed on E-commerce websites. Chinese e-commerce website JD.com has now listed OnePlus 7 Pro on its website, which was spotted by DroidShout.
Along with the listing, we get to see the specifications of this upcoming flagship from OnePlus. The listing confirms earlier reports that the OnePlus 7 Pro will have an HDR 10+ supported panel. The listing says the display will be “ultra clear.” We do know for a fact that the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a 90Hz refresh rate panel with Quad HD+ support.
Other than that, the listing reveals that the OnePlus 7 Pro will also have UFS 3.0 support. With UFS 3.0 support, we are expected to get exceptionally fast read/write speeds on the device. There is also the mention of “Haptic vibration motor”. We believe that this is in reference to the much-improved vibration motor, OnePlus claims, as compared to its predecessors.
Coming to the listed price of the OnePlus 7 Pro on JD.com, it is definitely a placeholder. Once the device is officially launched, we will most probably see the prices of this device reduced drastically. As of right now, JD.com lists the OnePlus 7 Pro at Yuan 9999 which is more than Rs. 1,00,000 in INR.
It is also interesting to note that JD.com says the device will be available after 16th May. It means that the OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to be made available right after launch. We expect OnePlus to do the same globally as well. Considering this is solely a leak, stay tuned for our coverage on the OnePlus 7 series as we attend the official launch event on 14th May, 2019 (tomorrow).
