OnePlus Ace 6T design renders have dropped once again, and to be honest, the phone looks much better. Over the years, we have heard a lot about Ace 6T thanks to the official updates from OnePlus and the countless rumors that have dropped. OnePlus Ace 6T design leaks, again!
The OnePlus Ace 6T is all set to launch this month (we have just a week to go for this month to end). Leaks around the upcoming OnePlus gaming phone have increased, and now, we have our hands on a design render thanks to Evan Blass. It shows the phone in three major colorways — Electric Purple, Phantom Green, and Flash Black. The former uses fiberglass finish while the other two colorways take on a fiberglass finish.
The phone looks lit with a subtly shaped rear camera bump housing two sensors lined vertically with a flash LED adjoining them. A OnePlus logo can be seen at the center, and the back panel has a vertical lines pattern that will make it easier to hold without a phone case.
Earlier reports confirmed the phone will see a flat screen display, as seen in the renders as well. There are ultra-narrow bezels that take the phone to a near flagship cadre, plus we have a metal frame that keeps the phone in shape even if it falls or drops. Note that we don’t recommend dropping your phone intentionally.
Moving on, the image shows an IR blaster on the top, a volume rocker, and a power button on the right side. According to Louis Jie, OnePlus China head, the phone has achieved a 50:50 golden weight distribution that gives the phone a much more balanced feel. This should allow users to enjoy a better experience when gaming in landscape and watching videos in portrait mode, although it remains to be seen. Jie further added how the micro-arc metal frame on board Ace 6T makes it visually sleek and appealing.
OnePlus Ace 6T specs reveals a lot about the upcoming gaming phone
OnePlus Ace 6T will be the first phone to host Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, a sub-flagship chipset. Apparently, the Chinese smartphone maker actually worked with Qualcomm to fine-tune the performance to fit its gaming phone that will launch at a whopping 165Hz refresh rate and will have an outstanding 8,000mAh battery under the hood. We aren’t doubting the performance on board the device, though, given the chipset and an enormous battery to keep it going.
Rumors have it that Ace 6T could become the OnePlus 15R to launch in India later this year. If not, we could see Ace 6 (launched last month in China) become the flag-bearer for rebranding as the OnePlus 15R.
