OnePlus at the MWC 2022 made a slew of announcements that would make any OnePlus fan happy. The Chinese smartphone maker which is now an independent sub-brand of Oppo has sold more than 11 million units in 2021 with the Nord series being at the forefront at 10 million units sold since 2020.

OnePlus is ready to take matters forward. OnePlus 10 Pro has a limited launch in its home country, however, it is now arriving in other markets as well. I am talking about its launch in Europe, India, and North America by the end of March 2022. If that’s not all, the Chinese OEM has stated it will launch a new model in India that will target both offline and online systems. A OnePlus smartphone with Dimensity 8100 SoC was recently rumored to arrive with 150W fast charging speed as well.

Apparently, OnePlus will expand into South American markets as well while expanding the markets such as Canada, South East Asia, The Middle East, South Asia, and others. OnePlus has mentioned that it will continue to launch 5G smartphones in a broader price spectrum, especially with more affordable models in Europe and India.

OnePlus received quite a criticism for converging its OxygenOS with Oppo’s ColorOS. Although both the OEMs will still share the codebase, OnePlus has made it official that OxygenOS 13 will get to a near-stock Android experience once it arrives with Android 13. Both OnePlus and Oppo will be working in tandem with OnePlus’s software design and deep user insights at the forefront. OxygenOS 13 will arrive with a unique visual design independent of ColorOS 13 and will be near stock.

Oppo’s HyperBoost Gaming Engine will be available on the OnePlus 10 Pro via an OTA update in North America, India, and Europe. OnePlus’ partnership with the camera giant Hasselblad will benefit Oppo’s smartphones as well.
