For the basics, OnePlus Buds Pro 3 brings on-board a dual driver setup with 6mm tweeters and 11m woofers. It has a new dual DAC system that feeds signals to the woofer and tweeter simultaneously, setting it apart from previous-gen Buds Pro 2.

OnePlus has updated both woofers and tweeters with new diaphragms that deliver crisp treble and powerful bass as tuned by Dynaudio — a Danish loudspeaker maker.

Presenting the all-new Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) that can dial up to 50dB in noise cancellation compared to 48dB on the predecessor. It automatically adjusts levels of noise cancellation whether you walk on a busy street or a quiet walkway.

According to OnePlus, its Adaptive ANC can reduce battery consumption and deliver better battery life compared to those buds with just ANCs. For instance, each bud sports a 58mAh battery delivering 6 hours on adaptive ANC and up to 10 hours on ANC off. This is a departure from the 60mAh on the predecessor delivering 6 hours and 9 hours of battery life respectively.

The case is a powerhouse with a 566mAh battery pack with 43 hours of battery life without ANC. Turn on ANC and you still get 25.5 hours of battery life. It is equipped with a USB-C port that can charge wirelessly in 2.50 hours and in just 70 minutes when wired.

According to OnePlus, the Buds Pro 3 packs in 3 microphones coupled with a Voice Pick Up (VPU) bone sensor on each of the buds. There’s an IP55 rating against water and dust keeping it protected against sweat (at least). The Buds Pro 3 supports Google Fast Pair, Spatial Audio, Bluetooth v5.4, and LHDC 5.0 codec among others.
