OnePlus is all pumped up to announce their next flagship device, OnePlus 6, on May 17 in the Indian market. The device has already been leaked numerous times revealing almost every aspect. This time the brand itself is hinting that the smartphone might come with a new feature. According to a teaser image found on Chinese social media platform Weibo, the device will come with an inbuilt heart rate sensor.

If you look at the teaser shown below, you’ll see a number 6 written in an electrocardiogram graphics format. This clearly indicates the integration of heart rate sensor in the device. It is worth noting that it is not the first device to come with such a feature. Samsung Galaxy S5 and Apple iPhone 5S are some of the devices which comes with this technology.

All the previous leaks do not indicate any heart rate sensor in the device. Heart sensor is a quite popular feature among the smart wearables. And, the integration of it right into the smartphone seems like a good option for those who are not that much into the wearable.

If you’re not aware of the specifications, OnePlus 6 will come with a 6.28-inch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 meaning the notch design is there. It is powered by the latest flagship processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. The device will be available in two variants 6 or 8 GB RAM and 128 or 256 GB internal storage. OnePlus 6 is going to come with an all-glass design meaning it might support the Wireless charging. Other rumors suggest that the phone will come with a dual camera setup at the back having 16-megapixel (f/1.7) and 20-megapixel (f/2.0) sensors. The device will also run on the latest version of Android.
