OPPO has officially launched its new OPPO Reno14 series in India, which includes two smartphones, the OPPO Reno14 and OPPO Reno14 Pro. Starting at ₹37,999, these devices offer major upgrades in AI features, performance, and battery technology compared to previous models. The Reno14 series will be available from July 8, across major online and offline stores.
Display and design
Instead of curved screens like before, the new Reno14 series comes with flat AMOLED displays. The regular Reno14 has a 6.59-inch screen, and the Pro version is a bit bigger at 6.83-inch. Both screens are super smooth with a 120Hz refresh rate, and they use a special 3840Hz dimming to be easier on your eyes. Plus, they’re protected by tough Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Powered by next-gen Dimensity SoCs
Under the hood, the OPPO Reno14 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip, while the Reno14 Pro gets a boost from the newer, faster Dimensity 8450. Both models pack plenty of power with up to 12 GB of superfast RAM and up to 512 GB of quick storage. Plus, these phones feature OPPO’s advanced Dual Cooling System with a “nano ice crystal heat sink,” making them three times better at staying cooler than previous models.
Camera capabilities
Reno14 series really focuses on great photos with its triple 50MP camera system on both models. Each phone includes a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP camera with 3.5x optical zoom (a periscope telephoto lens) for clear zoomed-in shots. The fancier Reno14 Pro also gets a 50MP ultra-wide camera, while the standard Reno14 has an 8MP ultra-wide one.
Up front, both have a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus that can even record 4K video at 60 frames per second. Plus, special AI features like AI Livephoto 2.0, AI Editor 2.0, and AI Flash Livephoto make sure your pictures, especially in motion or low light, look professional for everyday use.
Battery and charging
Battery life has also gotten a big boost. The Reno14 comes with a 6000mAh battery, while the Reno14 Pro features an even larger 6200mAh battery. Both models support superfast 80W SuperVOOC wired charging. Plus, the Pro version also offers convenient 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging.
Software and durability
The phones run Android 15 with OPPO’s ColorOS 15 and come with long-term support, 5 years of major updates and 6 years of security patches. They also have IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, making them very durable and resistant to dust and water.
