Oppo Reno4 Series Goes Official with SD765G, 65-watt Charging and Much More

Oppo has finally announced its next-gen Reno series i.e., Oppo Reno4 Series. Reno is basically Oppo’s sub-premium series which usually features in China mainland. Just like the Mi Mix series for Xiaomi, the Reno series is also Oppo’s innovation series, where they implement different new tech that is going to be in their flagship range series.

The phones accompany triple-camera setups at the rearamid a laser detection auto-focus lens. The Oppo Reno 4 and Oppo Reno 4 Pro phones are powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC, bringing 5G network connectivity. the 2 phones also offer 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging support. The Oppo Reno 4 Pro has superior camera specifications than the Oppo Reno 4. However, the Oppo Reno 4 also features a few key features like dual selfie cameras and a rather larger battery.

The Reno4 starts at CNY 2,999 ($422) for the 8/128GB configuration while the 8/256GB version will set buyers back CNY 3,299 ($465). The Reno4 Pro starts at CNY 3,799 ($535) for the 8/128GB trim while the 12/256GB variant will retail for CNY 4,299 ($606).

Oppo Reno4 features a 6.553-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels along with a 90Hz refresh rate. Along with this beautiful display, it houses a dual front camera setup in the form of punch-hole design. And also it features the fast under-display fingerprint sensor.

In terms of optics, Oppo Reno4  sports a dual front camera setup that includes a 32-megapixel camera accompanied by a 2-megapixel camera. On the rear side, it features a triple camera setup with a combination of the 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel monochromatic sensor. along with a laser autofocus sensor.

Under the hood, the device is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC along with Adreno 620 GPU, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage working of UFS 3.1 technology. The 5G connectivity is the courtesy of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G SoC.

The Oppo Reno4  packs with a 4,000mAh battery, which is backed up by a   65W VOOC 4.0 fast charging support. It runs ColorOS based on Android 10 and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card. The Oppo Reno 4 has a dual-SIM smartphone that will accept Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. It is available in Blue and Orange colors.

Connectivity options on the Oppo Reno 4  include Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C, FM radio, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the phone are Accelerometer, E-Compass, light sensors, proximity sensors, etc. The Oppo Reno 4 Pro supports face unlock.
