A few days, Oppo PBCM10, Oppo PBCM30, and Oppo PCBT10 appeared on TENAA and left the experts with speculations since Oppo didn’t comment on what these model numbers could be. Citing the rumors, we came to know that PBCM10 could be a toned down version of Oppo R15. So, the smartphone could be named as Oppo R15X. The device has appeared on 3C certification website again signifying that Oppo R15X has cleared all the legal certification hurdles and what remains is the official date of release which is under wrap.
According to the listing on TENAA followed by the GeekBench score that appeared recently, the device sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and yes, there is a new waterdrop-shaped notch.
At the back, the device has a majestic metallic finish with a dual-camera setup at the back with LED flash housed in chromium borders. The device has a 16MP + 2MP rear camera along with a 25MP front camera housed in the new notch which resembles much like upcoming OnePlus 6T which too has a 25MP shooter at the front. Under the hood, the device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor probably manufactured on the 14nm process with 6GB RAM since it is a toned down version.
According to the GeekBench scores on Oppo PBCM10 aka Oppo R15X, the device scored 1439 points on Single-core and 5516 points on multi-core which is impressive by far. Oppo R15X is available in Silver, Red, and Blue color variant and it is being paired with a more-than-average 3,500 mAh battery capable of providing a day of battery backup and light and heavy (mixed) usage however, there is a doubt whether it will carry Oppo’s VOOC charge or not because the fast charging capability is available for higher-end of smartphones.
