Poco M3 arrived globally last year in November with its 64GB UFS 2.1 plus 4GB and 128GB UFS 2.2 plus 4GB variants. Later, Poco M3 with 6GB RAM arrived in Indonesia . Cut to now, the Poco M3 with the same RAM configuration as the Indoneisa variant is slated to debut in India on Tuesday (February 2). This comes from Poco India Twitter handle confirming the same and it is launching on Flipkart at 12PM on February 2nd.

Poco hasn’t confirmed the storage capacity yet but it is going to be from 64GB and 128GB although we will have to wait for the Tuesday launch to confirm.

Just a pointer, there are hints that there will be at least three storage variants given the fact that its Flipkart listing says UFS 2.2/2.1/2 storage system. To put things into context, the global variant arrived with two storage configurations with two different storage systems and since the listing has three systems listed, there could be three storage capacities too.

According to the Flipkart listing, the device packs in a 6,000 mAh battery under the hood just like its global variant along with a 48MP triple camera setup on a rectangular camera bump. There’s a waterdrop-shaped notch at the front that houses the front camera i.e. 8MP selfie shooter.

The device is likely to get a 6.53-inch FHD+ display along with a Snapdragon 662 SoC under the hood. It packs in a 60Hz refresh rate as standard and with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on-board as well along with a IR blaster and stereo speakers. The device will arrive with Android 10-paired MIUI 12 out-of-the-box with Poco Launcher and no doubt it will get its Android 11-based MIUI 12/12.5 upgrade soon as well.

When the global variant was released, Poco M3 was marketed with a large battery capable of providing 3 days of moderate, 5 days of light, and a day and a half of battery life on heavy usage. Given the battery size, this seems logical. Also, it is paired with a 18W fast charging that should take a little over 2 hours to juice up the battery to its capacity.
