Realme India’s social media handle is abuzz with excitement, teasing the anticipated launch of the Realme 12 series in India. Standing out for featuring a periscope lens without bearing the ‘flagship phone’ title, the series is creating a buzz. The recent sighting of both the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ on the TENAA certification website further fuels the speculation of an imminent launch.
Set for introduction in India, the Realme 12 series has been showcased on TENAA, revealing both Pro models along with their design elements and color variants.
The design of the camera setup on the Realme 12 Pro and Pro+ models draws parallels with the Realme GT5 Pro. It sports a unique four-sensor arrangement, including a prominent circular camera module encircled by a silver-ish ring. The device is bisected vertically by a bold silverish or chrome line, adding to its distinct look.
As per the images on TENAA, which we credit to Sparrow News, the Realme 12 Pro series seems to take aesthetic cues from the Realme GT5 Pro. The listing displays white and orange vegan leather finishes, hinting at the possibility of eco-friendly alternatives to the standard color options.
The front of the phone features a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, and a plastic middle frame, perhaps indicating its non-flagship status.
Besides TENAA, the series has also been spotted on the MIIT certification website. Drawing from reliable sources, the Realme 12 Pro is expected to come equipped with a 32MP IMX709 2x telephoto lens. The Realme 12 Pro Plus, on the other hand, is rumored to boast a 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto camera with a 70mm lens.
Realme recently hosted a global event where it unveiled its new tagline “Make It Real,” replacing the longstanding “Dare to Leap.” It’s intriguing to consider how this rebranding might influence the Realme 12 series, which marks the brand’s first release under this new identity.
