Now that Android 10 is officially out and it has been 10 days since then, smartphone brands are working towards pushing the Android 10 to its smartphones although the timeline varies drastically. Realme has just posted a tweet featuring its Android 10 roadmap which contains expected if not exact dates for Realme smartphones to get their Android 10 update.
According to the tweet that was released alongside Realme XT, there are 8 smartphones from Realme that are in tow to get their update. Note that no smartphones are slated to get Android 10 as of this year.
Realme 3 Pro, Realme 5 Pro, Realme X, and Realme XT which are basically the new ‘Pro’ variants will get their Android 10 update in Q1 i.e. between January to March. Further, Realme 3, Realme 5, and Realme 3i are slated to get their piece of Android 10 update in Q2 2019 which is between April to June.
Finally, the Q3 2019 will welcome Android 10 to Realme 2 Pro users which takes the total to 8 smartphones from Realme. The tweet excludes both Realme 1 and Realme 2 from Android 10 roadmap which could basically mean that these two smartphones might not be able to get their Android 10 or there could be something else the Chinese smartphone maker is not disclosing at the moment. We expect to get the exact time frame for the Android 10 roadmap soon but at least we now know that most of the phones from Realme are eligible to get their Android 10 upgrade no matter the time frame.
Realme XT was recently launched with a 64MP sensor. Although it was announced before Xiaomi’s major announcement, Xiaomi took the slip by releasing its Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro with 64MP sensor before Realme could do it.
