Realme GT 2 Pro is incoming and it is expected to arrive in early 2022. Turns out it is likely to get Snapdragon 898 SoC according to the latest leak which goes against a previous leak detailing it to have a Snapdragon 888 SoC instead. Realme GT 2 Pro specifications leaked again
According to tipster WHYLAB who posted a pretty extensive specs sheet on Chinese microblogging website Weibo, the Realme GT 2 Pro is likely to have model number RMX3301. With that, the device will be equipped with the upcoming Snapdragon 898 SoC which is also summoned as Snapdragon 8 Gen1 in case Qualcomm decides to go through with the new nomenclature.
The device will have UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM with virtual RAM capability similar to other Realme devices out there. Apart from that, the display will be a 6.51-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 404 PPI density and a high refresh rate although the leakster didn’t mention the actual refresh rate in Hz. I am expecting it to be at least 120Hz although we will have to wait for more information to come our way. The display will boast a 20:9 aspect ratio FYI.
Talking about the camera rig on-board, the Realme GT 2 Pro will be equipped with a 32MP selfie camera. There’s a 50MP rear primary camera with OIS and probably two or three sensors additionally. An ultrawide, macro, and depth sensors are the common set up so we can expect that as well.
Moving on, the device will have up to 125W fast charging tech as per the new leak although a previous leak suggested a 65W fast charging tech instead. The phone is likely to get a beefy 5,000 mAh battery although take everything mentioned here with a pinch of salt.
Finally, the device will rock the latest Android 12 flavored OS with Realme UI 3.0 on top. With that, it will support the latest Bluetooth v5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 as well.
When it comes to Realme GT 2 Pro pricing, a tip from Digital Chat Station on Weibo mentioned that the phone is likely to get a CNY 4,000 price tag while a special edition will likely go on sale at CNY 5,000.
