Realme X50 Pro Player Edition appears on TENAA; to launch on May 25

Realme will be holding a massive launch event on May 25 with at least 8 products to launch and one of which will be Realme X50 Pro Player Edition. Confirmed by Realme, X50 Pro Play Edition is a gaming-oriented beast version of X50 Pro 5G that was launched back in February. Although it will share a few key traits from its sibling, it is a gaming phone ready to raise the bar high.

Reports have confirmed that Realme X50 Pro Play Edition carries model number RMX2072 which has appeared several times in leaks such as the recent AnTuTu score leak according to which, the device scored 600,806 points which is phenomenal leaving OnePlus 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S20+ Ultra gasping for air.

Back to Realme X50 Pro Play Edition, the company posted on Weibo about its Snapdragon 865 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. SDM865 is a beast when it comes to power with 25% higher power (CPU), 25% higher power (GPU), and 200% higher power in AI when compared to its predecessor.

The latest TENAA listing revealed for Realme X50 Pro Player Edition shows the phone is a matter Red color with watered-down camera setup. According to the reports, Realme X50 Pro 5G sports a 64+12+8+2MP quad-camera setup while this gaming-oriented Player Edition packs in a 48+8+2+2MP quad-camera setup. The same applies to the front cameras at 16+2MP from the previous 32+8MP dual setup on X50 Pro 5G.

Apart from that, the device will have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of ROM on-board and will run on Android 10-based Realme UI out-of-the-box. It will sport a dual-cell battery of which the capacity for the first one i.e. 2,055 mAh is known so we don’t know exactly how much is the second cell. Additionally, the phone will have a 65W fast charging that means you can simply connect the charger for a few minutes to get an hour of juice to run the phone.
